APO-CLOPIDOGREL :-  is an inhibitor of ADP-induced platelet aggregation, indicated for the reduction of thrombotic events as folows: Recent MI, Recent  Stroke or Established peripheral Arterial Diesease. It is also used, along with aspirin, for the prevention of thrombosis after placement of intracoronary stent or as an alternative antiplatet drug for patients who are intolerant to aspirin.

 

APO-ESOMEPRAZOLE :-  is a proton pump inhibitor, used in the treatment ofdyspepsia, peptic ulcer disease (PUD), Gastroesophageal reflux disease and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.

 

APO-LETROZOLE :-  is an oral non-steroidal aromatase inhibitor for the treatment of hormonally-responsive breast cancer after surgery. treatment of local or metastatic breast cancer that is hormone receptor positive or has an unknown receptor status in postmenopausal women. used for ovarian stimulation by fertility doctors.

 APO- OXCARBAZEPINE :- is an anticonvulsant, used primarily in the treatment of epilepsy. It is also used to treat anxiety and mood disorders.

 

APO-LEVETIRACETAM:- is an anticonvulsant medication used to treat epilepsy.  It is the S-enantiomer of etiracetam, structurally similar to the prototypical nootropic drug piracetam. Used as a monotherapy treatment for epilepsy in the case of partial seizures, or as an adjunctive therapy for partial, myoclonic and tonic-clonic seizures.

 

APO-PIROXICAM :- is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to treat mild to moderate pain and help relieve symptoms of arthrits (osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis), such as inflammation, swelling, stiffness, and joint pain.

 

APO-MELOXICAM :- Anti-inflammatory-analgesic, is nonsteridal anti-inflammatory drug selective COX2 inhibitor, indicated for the managment of pain (acute & chronic) an inflammation to relieve the symptoms o arthritis , primary dysmenorrhea, fever , etc.

 

APO-NAPROXEN :-  Is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to treat mild to moderate pain, including acute gout and other painful conditions such as bursitis , tendonitis, or menstrual cramps, it’s also used to relieve symptoms of arthritis (osteoarithritis, rheumatoid arthritis, or juvenile arthitis) such as inflammation, swelling, stiffness, and joint pain.

 

APO-CARVEDILOL :- Convgsetive Heart Failure Agent, belongs to alpha-beta-adrenergic blocking agents, Carvedilol is indicated for the treatment of mild-to-servere chronic heart failure, in left ventriculer dysfunction following MI & in hypertension

 

APO-METOPROLOL :- Antianginal – Antihypertensive, cardioselective  beta  blocker,  is used alone or together with other medicines to treat hypertension. Metoprolol is also used to treat angina and lowers the risk of repeated heart attacks. it is given to people who have already had a heart attack

 

APO-PROPRANOLOL :-  Beta-adrenergic Receptor Blocking Agent (non-selective), is used alone or together with other medicines to treat hypertension. it is also used to treat angina, migraine headaches, or hypertrophic subaortic stenosis, to treat irregular heartbeats, tremors,or pheochromocytoma & also be used to reduse the risk of death in patients who have heart attacks

 

APO-ENALAPRIL :- Angiotensin Converting Enzyme Inhibitor, is used alone or with other medicines to treat hypertension.by blocking this enzyme, the blood vessels relax & this lowers blood pressure and increases the supply of blood and oxygen to the heart, Enalapril  is also used to treat or prevent congestive heart failure.

 

APO- LISINOPRIL :- Angiotensin Converting Enzyme inhibitor, is used alone or with other medicines to treat hypertension. Lisinopril is also used in some patients after heart attack Lisinopril may be started within 24 hours after a heart attack to increase    survival rate.

 

APO-ISDN :- long acting  natrates,    used  pharmacologically  as  a vasodilator, e.g. in angina pectoris but also fo anal fissure, a condition which is known to involve decreased blood supply leading to poor healing. it is also used as a direct vasodilator to treat congestive heart falure.

 

APO-METHYLDOPA :-  is an alpha-adrenergic agonist (selective for a2-adrenergic receptors) used as a symptholytic or antithypertensive it continues have a role in otherwise difficult to treat hypertension and gestational hypertension.

 

APO-HYDRALAZINE :- Antihypertensive, it is used to treat hypertension. it is also used to control high blood pressure in the mother during pregnancy (pre-eclampsia or eclampsia) or in emergancy situations when blood pressure is extremely high (hypertensive crisis). Hydralazine is also used in certain patients with Congestive heart failure.

 

APO-FOLIC :-  is a component of the B group of vitamins.  used   for   the     prevention of neural tube defects for woman planing a pregnancy and known to be at risk. For the treatment of folate-deficient megaloblastic anaemia due to malnutrition, malabsorption syndromes (such as coeliac disease or sprue) and increased utilisation as in pregnancy. For the prophylaxis of drug induced folate deficiency.

 

APO-AZATHIOPRINE :- Immunosuppressive agent, is used to reduce the body’s natural immunity in patients who receive organ transplants. It is also used to treat rheumatoid arthritis.

 

APO-GABAPENTINE :- Antiepileptic, is used to help control some types of seizures, gabapentin is also used to manage a condition called post therapeutic neuralgia (pain after “shingles”). Gabapentin is used in certain patients to treat diabetic peripheral neuropathic pain.

 

APO-BACLOFEN :- Muscle Relaxant-Antispastic(Gamma Aminobutyric acid (class)), it acts centrally to help relax certain muscles in the body . it relieves the spasms, cramping, and tightness of muscles caused by medical problems such as multiple sclerosis or certain injuries to the spine.

 

APO-HALOPERIDOL :- Antipsychotic, is used to treat nervous, emotional, and mental conditions (e.g.. schizophrenia). Haloperidol is also used to treat severe behavioral problems (e.g., aggressive, impulsive behavior) or hyperactivity in children who have alredy been treated with psychotherapy or other medicines that did not work well.

 

APO-CLONAZEPAM :-  Anticonvulsant, is a benzodiazepine used alone or together with other medicines to treat certain seizure (convulsive) disorders (e.g., lennox- Gastaut syndrome, akinetic or myolonic seizures). it is also used to treat panic disorder in some patients.

 

APO-BECLOMETHASONE :- is a glucocorticoid steroid. , it is used for the prophylaxis of asthma , it is used for the treatment of rhinitis and sinusitis.

 

APO-FLUOXETINE :- Selective Serotonin Reuptake inhibitor, is used to treat mental depression. it is also used to treat obsessive-compulsive disorder , bulimia nervosa, premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD), and panic disorder.

 

APO-IMIPRAMINE :-  Tricyclic Antidepressant(TCA) used for Depression. One to three weeks of treatment may be needed before optimal therapeutic effects are evident. Childhood enuresis – may be useful as temprorary adjunctive therapy in reducing enuresis in children aged 6 years and older.

 

APO-CLOMIPRAMINE :-  Tricyclic Antidepressant (TCA),  is used to treat obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD).
